About the Aurthor

Jay Kinkade was born in Oakland, California in 1964. His father received a job offer in Atlanta, Georgia in 1971 and his family moved east. Jay grew up in Decatur, a small historic city, just a few miles to the east of downtown Atlanta. He became interested in songwriting during his teenage years. Showing promise and after writing many songs, Jay founded Tic Toc Tunes, LLC, an independent publishing company in 1991. Initially a platform for publishing his songs, he began to see it as an opportunity to broaden his writing skills. He started to write poetry, prose and a few short stories. While writing is his truest passion, Jay is also an avid guitar player and enjoys tinkering with anything mechanical, especially cars.
